Annelie Fritze
Production Manager
Annelie Fritze has been Production Manager of Wien Modern since 2011.
After finishing studies of musicology and solo voice in Vienna, she worked in the Artistic Management Office and as Assistant to the General Management of the Osterfestspiele Salzburg from 2001 to 2006. From 2004 to 2009, she led projects for the temporary initiative Central & Eastern European Musiktheater (an initiative by Deutsche Bank Stiftung, Wiener Staatsoper and Republik Österreich (BKA/BMUKK) through artistic conception, planning and development of the international funding programme for opera houses in the CEE region. Here, she initatied opera coproductions with partner opera houses in Tirana, Albania; Sarajewo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Sofia, Bulgaria; Zagreb, Croatia; Skopje, Macedonia; Bucarest and Temesvar, Romania and Belgrad/Serbia. She was a part of production management in the performative collective theatercombinat in 2010. She also founded a stipend programme for young singers in these partner opera houses. Educational visits led her to Siemens artsprogram München, the Royal Opera House in London and the Metropolitan Opera, New York.
