Stefan Altenriederer

Stefan Altenriederer was born in Vienna in 1994 and studied musicology at the University of Vienna and cultural management at the University of Music and Performing Arts. Alongside his studies, he worked as a production manager for various music theater festivals, including "Oper Klosterneuburg" from 2018 to 2024 and "Herbsttage Blindenmarkt" from 2016 to 2024. In 2021, he co-founded the cultural association "Never at Home" together with Nina Zips, Clara and Vera Grillmaier, and Nyusta Ruckendorfer. With studio spaces, workshops, and creative formats, "Never at Home" provides a space to promote diverse artistic perspectives while making them accessible to a broad audience. Currently, "Never at Home" is located in the former ORF Funkhaus. Since 2022, he has also been a founding member of the cultural association "kunstl:cht" and the event series "sch:cht [ʃɪçt]." sch:cht [ʃɪçt] serves as a platform for musical discoveries beyond the mainstream, creating transformative encounters between classical music and club culture.
Since April 2024, Stefan Altenriederer has been working as a production manager for Wien Modern.
