Stefan Altenriederer
Production Management
Stefan Altenriederer was born in Vienna in 1994 and studied musicology at the University of Vienna and cultural management at the University of Music and Performing Arts. In addition to his studies, he worked as a production manager for various music theater festivals, including the "Oper Klosterneuburg" from 2018 to 2024 and the "Herbsttage Blindenmarkt" from 2016 to 2024. In 2021, he co-founded the cultural association "Never at Home" with Nina Zips, Clara and Vera Grillmaier, and Nyusta Ruckendorfer. Through studio spaces, workshops, and creative formats, "Never At Home" provides a place to promote diverse artistic positions and make them accessible to the general public. Since 2022, he has also been organizing as a founding member the "kunstl:cht" cultural association and the event series "sch:cht [ʃɪçt]". "sch:cht [ʃɪçt]" serves as a platform for musical discoveries that create space for transformative encounters between classical music and club culture outside the mainstream.
Stefan Altenriederer has been working in the production team of Wien Modern since April 2024.
