A festival weekend in Semperdepot with three of the world’s top ensembles, the delicate music of Roman Haubenstock-Ramati, high-flyer Enno Poppe and a contagious world premiere from Elisabeth Schimana. Part 2: Together with the Ensemble Mosaik, which he co-founded in Berlin in 1997, Enno Poppe will present his long-awaited piece »Rundfunk« for nine (!) synthesizers, which will mix sounds from the different eras of electronic music to create »something totally new« (Enno Poppe).

»The piece is made up of thousands of atoms. The music is analytically emphatic. It is put together in a laboratory and I wear a white coat when I’m composing it. But a concert is not an experiment. At the moment when I no longer understand what is going on, that is when art is created. Beauty lies in the making of excessive demands.« (Enno Poppe)
