The Austrian electronic musician Fennesz is known all over the world. With his new composition Area, he creates room-specific, three-dimensional sound areas, virtual listening landscapes, which the audience can influence and explore individually using the interactive headphone system NOUS Sonic.

NOUS Sonic is an innovative audio technology tool developed in Vienna which allows immersive hearing and orientation in space through precise tracking of the position, movement or line of sight of participants. In real spaces – here the Grand Foyer of the Wiener Konzerthaus – thanks to Augmented Listening, it becomes possible to immerse yourself in technically ingenious, expanded perceptions of space and sound
