Your visit at Wien Modern should be as safe and pleasant as possible. The safety precautions and the COVID-19 prevention concept are being adapted regularly to the respective regulations. Since adaptions and changes to the regulations can happen quite last minute, we ask that before attending an event of the festival, you inform yourself on the current rules on our website.

According to the current regulations of the Federal Government, there are no special rules of access for events.

Along with numerous other event venues in Vienna, we still recommend wearing an FFP2 (N95) mask during your stay at the event venue.

Restriction for people who have tested positive: Since the 1st of August, 2022, according to the COVID-19 Ordinance of the Federal Government, people who have tested positive for COVID-19 are no longer subject to quarantine and can largely participate in public life, provided they do not feel ill and are asymptomatic. If a minimum distance of 2 m from other people cannot be maintained in closed rooms with several people, as well as outdoors, the continuous, correct wearing of an FFP2 mask over the mouth and nose is legally required.

Please be considerate of the health of other people in the audience, of the artists and our staff and by all means stay at home, in accordance with the law, if you feel ill or experience symptoms.
