The line from Schubert to Furrer that began in quartet format the night before is expressively continued at the piano: the invention of sounds and tunings begins with the twenty-year-old Franz Schubert shortly after the Congress of Vienna, and continues towards Younghi Pagh-Paan and her student Elnaz Seyedi, born in Tehran in 1982, and goes on to the shadow play of Rebecca Saunders and the virtuoso flageolet study of Beat Furrer. A great solo evening by Hsin-Huei Huang, who is known for her collaboration with Klangforum Wien and the Vienna Philharmonic, among others.
