Limina is an attempt to slow down the perception of time through an immersive, hypnotic, sensory environment that attunes the audience to listening deeply into the substructures of sound phenomena. [...] Limina is conceived to be performed alongside Sensation 1, a solo by the Dominican-American choreographer Ligia Lewis, and can be understood as an homage to this powerful sculptural study of embodiment and performative identity.
