The annual conference of the IAMIC – International Association of Music Centres is taking place in Vienna this year and is dedicated to sustainability. In recent years, this topic has come into focus primarily from an ecological point of view. but this programme places a focus on the social aspects. To enable as many people as possible to participate both on and behind the stage, as well as in the audience, we need to rethink how we approach cultural events. That’s why we invite you to the Brunnenpassage, which uniquely stands for diversity-sensitive conception. How can people with disabilities participate in cultural events? This will be addressed, as will the question of the importance of mental health in the cultural sector, and subsequently, this question: what role does the curation of concert programmes and festivals play and what different approaches exist?
