Mia Zabelka and Herbert Lacina are passionate about the field of experimental improvisation and practice it primarily from the perspective of social interaction. This includes sensitively gauging the mood of their playing partner, enabling rich musical interaction. But sensing the energy of the audience is also a decisive factor in improvisation. The various streams of consciousness of the listeners have a decisive influence on the course of each improvisation.
