We strike the bells softly and so subtly break the habit of how a peal should sound. We softly pack the clappers of the bells. No longer does iron meet alloy. A soft clapper elicits different music from the bell than a hard one. Hardly any impact, much decay. A soft hum, a foreign singsong, lontano, con sordino. A music of ancient matter-of-factness. The natural melody. From the depth of space, from the depth of time it seems to come, from there it seems to tell us: the quiet ringing. (Peter Conradin Zumthor)

The concert will take place outside, please wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Because of the Leopoldifest taking place that day, we recommend that you travel by public transport.
