Text and music in Break Eden – the ambiguous title is intentional – deal with the creation of Eden viewed from the present, which entails both breaking and joining together. The voice, with its finest nuances of sound and expression, finds itself in a condensed environment of documentary sounds. It is both an imaginary portrait of a multitude of possible persons and a possible person condensed in its emotions and sensations. This voice as such resolves the question of society and individual by representing both in constant transformation and in both of their settings.
