To encourage composers to write for the piano, joyfully and manageably in all possible ways, and while consciously questioning their own pianistic experiences with a look to the future: this is the motto of input > klavier. The project‘s aim is to set impulses and, through a diverse selection of new ways of thinking, seeing, listening and writing for the instrument, to offer short, attractive pieces that may help bridge the gaps between pianists, composers and audiences in the traditional concert setting.
