The responsibility and the relationship between the individual and the collective, not as in "versus" but as in „together", come into focus here, as does the question of free design and the relation between interpretation and improvisation in the set frame that a graphic score entails. Through its improvisational element, Doorways turns into a virtual moving construction that constantly transforms and that demands a careful consideration of space and time during each performance. Inspired by Vincenco Natali's 1997 film Cube, the performative sound installation can be viewed as an interactive game, a kind of "listening gymnastics". (Maja Osojnik)
