Sandro Nicolussi

Sandro Nicolussi (*1994 in Bregenz) studied Journalism and Media Management at the FH der WKW in Vienna. During this time, he published as a freelance journalist for various (print) media such as Falter, noisey, The Gap and many more. In 2021 and 2022, he was editor-in-chief of the pop culture magazine The Gap, which was honoured with an award from the industry magazine "Österreichs Journalist:in" in the ‘30 under 30’ category. Most recently, he was responsible for public relations at the FLUCC cultural anchor centre. In his musical practice, Sandro works in the experimental sonic realms of ambient, drone and noise. His works appear on numerous international labels and accompany film and theatre productions.

Sandro has been responsible for press relations at Wien Modern since August 2024.
