Sandro Nicolussi

Sandro Nicolussi (*1994 in Bregenz) studied journalism and media management at the FH der WKW in Vienna. During this time, he published as a freelance journalist for various (print) media such as Falter, noisey, The Gap and many more. In 2021 and 2022, he headed the pop culture magazine The Gap as editor-in-chief, which was honored with an award from the trade magazine Österreichs Journalist:in in the category “30 under 30”. After joining the press office for Wien Modern 37 in 2024, Sandro has been responsible for editing the festival publications since March 2025. In his musical practice, Sandro works in the realms of ambient, noise and improvisation. His works appear on numerous international labels and accompany film and theater productions.
