How do I occupy living space in my everyday life? What’s the sound of the most memorable minutes of my working day? How do we want to live, and what built spaces do we need for this? How can we open up our private spaces to friendly networks? Can we and do we want to listen to our neighbours during their everyday lives? With which songs in our ears do we do care work? The collective Untere Reklamationsbehörde develops new acoustic narratives based on research into the historical housing utopias of Red Vienna and New Frankfurt, as well as critical interviews with female squatters and autobiographical stories. Both of these cities were significantly influenced by one of the first prominent female architects, Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky,

The event will partly take place outside, so please plan to dress appropriately for the weather. You will receive headphones at the start for a short walk together. We recommend planning 90 minutes for the visit.
